What is a Growth Hacker?
I went to a really great talk a couple weeks ago on Growth Hacking – a very techie approach to marketing via metrics and testing. Aaron Ginn, Head of Growth at Stumble Upon, is an incredibly energetic speaker, and I found his perspective enlightening. 5 years of the app store
Man does time fly! “From the 500 apps available at launch in 2008 to the more than 900,000 at your fingertips today, it’s been a remarkable prolific five years for the App Store.” To celebrate, Apple is giving away a bunch of great apps! Traktor DJ for iPhone / iPad
DJay by Algoriddim is my tool for rocking the occasional party: on my iPhone, iPad or Mac, whichever the situation calls for. I also use the Vestax Spin
controller, which is a hardware interface to make the app more performance-friendly. Well it looks like all of a sudden, DJay has some pretty serious competition. Traktor comes more from the pro side, and has just released their own hardware DJ control surface, the Kontrol Z1 to go with their desktop and iOS apps. Can’t wait to take this thing for a spin.
